How does the CERRET bracelet work?

In an emergency, simply press the large button on the bracelet twice within 1.5 seconds. Pressing the button triggers an emergency call to your contacts. It also sends them a text message notifying them of your whereabouts, including a link to your precise real-time location to enable rapid intervention.

Does CERRET work anywhere in the world?

Yes. It works anywhere in the world. Just double-press the emergency button. Cerret will report your position no matter where you are.

How long does the battery last?

24–30 months. The app will alert you when the fully replaceable battery has a 50% charge remaining and will advise you to change it immediately.

Does the bracelet fit all wrists?

Yes. The sizing is adjustable at ~ 14 cm,  ~ 15 cm, ~ 16 cm, ~ 17 cm, ~ 18 cm and 19 cm and never compromises the bracelet’s fit to your wrist.

How do you avoid accidentally sending an alert?

The emergency button must be pressed twice within 1.5 seconds to activate the bracelet, making it harder to send an alert by accident. We also designed the bracelet to ensure the button does not protrude (it aligns with the wristband), even if you lean against something or rest your arm on a surface.

Can you cancel an alert?

Yes. After pressing the button, you have up to 15 minutes to cancel the alert via the Cerret app.

Is the bracelet water-resistant?

Yes. The bracelet’s ingress protection (IP) rating is IP53, making it water-resistant. That means you can wear your bracelet in the rain, but not in the shower—and certainly not in the bath or a pool. A little splashing on the bracelet is fine, but immersion risks damage.

Will I be notified when the battery is running low?

Yes. A new battery will last 24–30 months and is fully replaceable. The Cerret app will notify you when the battery charge is less than 50%. We will advise you to change it at that point.

What happens when the battery runs out?

The Cerret bracelet runs on a 3-volt “button cell,” a small circular battery IEC code CR1216. This battery is widely available to buy and easy to change.
