Your CERRET bracelet uses a replaceable coin cell that lasts about two and a half years. Here is how to change it, and how to look after the jewellery.

The app sends you a notification when the battery is running low, provided notifications are switched on.

Which battery you need

Your bracelet takes a CR1216 coin cell.

These are sold in supermarkets, pharmacies, watch shops and online. We recommend using Panasonic.

Replace the battery

1. Unscrew the back lid. Turn it anticlockwise.
2. Take the old battery out.
3. Insert the new CR1216 with the inscriptions facing up, so the writing on the cell is visible to you.
4. Screw the lid back on. Turn it clockwise until it closes securely.

Keep coin cells away from children
A swallowed coin cell can cause serious internal burns within two hours and can be fatal.  If you think a battery has been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Water and your bracelet

Your bracelet is rated IP53. It withstands rain and splashes, but it must not be immersed.

Take it off before you shower, swim or bathe. Do not wear it in a sauna or steam room, and do not expose it to high-pressure water.

Temperature

Use your bracelet between -20°C and 45°C. Do not store it in a hot environment or near a fire.

Caring for the jewellery

Your bracelet is real plated 24K gold, rose gold or 925 silver, and it should be treated like fine jewellery.

1. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth to keep it bright.
2. Take it off before applying perfume, hand cream or hairspray.
3. Do not use jewellery dip, polish or ultrasonic cleaners.
4. Store it dry, away from direct sunlight.

Do not drop your bracelet or subject it to impacts, and do not disassemble it beyond opening the battery lid.
