How does the CERRET bracelet work?

In an emergency, press the button on the bracelet twice.

This triggers an emergency call to your contacts, and also sends them an alert message.

Your precise realtime location is also transmitted for rapid intervention.

Does CERRET work anywhere in the world?

Yes—we are just a double-press of your emergency button away, ready to support you in any situation no matter where you are.

How long does the battery last?

The replaceable battery lasts 24–30 months.

The app will alert you when the battery is at 50%, advising you to change it.

Does the bracelet fit all wrists?

Yes—the sizing is adjustable, but never compromises the bracelet’s adherence to your wrist.

How do you avoid accidentally sending an alert?

The emergency button does not protrude from the bracelet—it sits flush to the wristband.

That means the button can’t be accidentally pressed as you lean against something, or when your arm is against a surface.

Furthermore, the button must be pressed twice within 1.5 seconds to activate the emergency system.

Can you cancel an alert?

Yes. You can cancel the alert on the CERRET app, within 15 minutes of having pressed the emergency button.

Is the bracelet water-resistant?

The bracelet’s ingress protection (IP) rating is IP53. That means it is water-resistant, but not waterproof.

That means you can wear your bracelet in the rain, but not in the shower, and certainly not in the bath or a pool.

A little splashing is fine, but immersion risks damaging the bracelet.

Will I be notified when the battery is running low?

While the battery will last 24–30 months, the app will alert you when it’s at 50%, advising you to change it.

What happens when the battery runs out?

The bracelet runs on a 3-volt so-called button cell, a small circular battery with the IEC code CR1216.

This battery is available in any shop, and easily replaced in the bracelet.
