Find and manage your recordings

Every alert saves a 30-second audio recording to your phone. Here is how to find, play, share and delete them.

Where your recordings are

1. Open the CERRET app.
2. Tap the profile icon at the top left of the screen.
3. Tap Recordings.

Your recordings are listed by date, with the most recent at the top.

Play a recording

Tap the play button on any recording. A progress bar shows how far through it you are, and the length appears on the right.

Share a recording

Tap the share icon on a recording to send a copy.

You can send it to anyone you would normally share a file with.

Delete a recording

Tap the bin icon on a recording to remove it.

Deleted recordings cannot be recovered. They are stored only on your phone, so CERRET cannot retrieve one for you.

Where your recordings are stored

Your recordings stay on your phone. They are not sent to your safety contacts, and they are not uploaded to CERRET.

If you change phone or reinstall the app, your recordings do not move with you. Share any recording you want to keep before you switch.
